How to choose the right Spray Tan Artist

Getting a spray tan can either be the most daunting, or the most amazing experience.

Whether you're tanning for a big event, vacation or simply to feel and look your best. Here are a few questions you can ask your Tan technician to ensure flawless results...

• What Tanning solution does the technician use? Is it a rapid- 2-4 hour or a longer developing formula such as 8-10 hours. This will determine how long you leave the tan on and rapid formula's are better suited to those with a busier schedule / or don't want the tan to develop too much over a longer period of time.

• How long have they tanned client's for? Are they experienced with mature skin or custom blending different tanning colors to match your desired tan depth and skin tone.

• Do they use a metal or a plastic gun? A metal gun emits a flawless mist, a plastic gun can oversaturate areas, making your tan look obvious and uneven.

• Do they bring a tent, extraction fan, and plenty of towels to ensure that the tan mist isn't inhaled by you and doesn't get all over your bathroom or any area.

• Are they familiar with contouring? A trained tanning artist will know how to sculpt and shape areas to make you look and feel your best.
